01 : DHAMPUS
Meet our Sherpa Guide in your hotel at Pokhara, and transfer to PHEDI (3,723ft) takes about half an hour to begin the three - hour's hiking to DHAMPUS (5,740ft). For the first 45 minutes the trail is quite more strenuous, and then less steep uphills to Dhampus. Breathtaking scenery unfolds at every turn -- rural villages, paddy fields of rice and wheat. Marvel at 23,000-foot Machhapuchhre, Sacred Fishtail Mountain. Trek at your own pace. Lunch at the local restaurant, where you also rest and meet local people. After enjoying the mountain views (if weather permitting), you will come down to PHEDI in about one & half hour and return back to your hotel another half an hour again.
02 : PHUMDI - BHUMDI
From Pokhara, we drive to Khari pati for about 25 minutes. We then start to walk for Phumdi Bhumdi situated at an elevation of 1500m (approx.). The entire trail is almost uphill past many typical houses and terraced farmlands. The area is inhabited by ethnic people called them Gurung. Reaching on the top, one can enjoy the panoramic views of western Himalayas from Dhaulagiri (8167m) on the west to Lamjung Himal (6932m) to east including the whole Annapurna ranges apart from the breath-taking views of the Pokhara valley on a clear day. After strolling sometimes here, we come down to the same place to return back to Pokhara.
03 : SARANGKOT
After an early breakfast, we leave hotel for Sarangkot from Pokhara. Sarangkot is situated at an elevation of 1592m is the best vantage point to see the Sun rise views over the Himalayas near Pokhara. At first, we drive to a place called Sirling Butte for about half an hour. Thereafter we commence to walk on a stone staircase for Sarangkot, which takes about one and half hour. As we climb up, the views of Machhapuchhre/Mt. Fish-tail (6993m), Annapurna II, III, IV, Lamjung Himal (6932m) begin to emerge from behind the hills. Reaching at tower, the panoramic views of western Himalayas including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Mt. Fish-tail (6993m), Annapurna II, III, IV and Lamjung Himal are magnificent. After strolling sometimes here, we come down to Pokhara via Pame village which is straight down hill, or following the same track to Sirling Butte and drive back to Pokhara.
04 : CHANDRAKOT
We drive to Lumle (1610m), situated about 30 km north-west of Pokhara, which takes about an hour. After sorting out our gears, we start to walk for Chandrakot village (1580m) for about an hour along the stone paved lanes through a small village past terraced farm lands. From Chandrakot one can see the close views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre along with its typical village of Gurung people. After enjoying the breath-taking views, we track back to
