Early morning flight to Aurangabad from Mumbai. As you reach Aurangabad, drive down to Ajanta caves (99km/ 3hrs.) -A UNESCO world heritage site. The caves are adorned with fascinating fresco paintings of 6th century based on Buddhist themes, and appreciated as one of the finest example of cave arts in the whole world.Early morning flight to Aurangabad from Mumbai. As you reach Aurangabad, drive down to Ajanta caves (99km/ 3hrs.) -A UNESCO world heritage site. On this day travel to Pune from Aurangabad, crossing over the rural country side. If time permits, a visit to is suggested before you check – in at your hotel. Day 06: Pune to Goa

Fly off from Pune to Goa. As you reach Goa, get transferred to the hotel and spend some leisure time that day. Explore the markets and beaches nearby and also don’t miss out on the delicious sea food platter in a beach shack.

 

Day 07: South Goa

To explore the distinct heritage of Goa start with Basilica of Bom Jesus – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fine example of Jesuit architecture. This Portuguese Church is built out of black granite is a great combination of the Doric, Corinthian and composite styles. Also keep Se Cathedral in your list.
